Hausa ,Igbo traders clash in Aba, scores injured, killed

Several people are now feared dead with scores injured during bloody clashes between Igbo and Hausa traders at the popular Ariaria market in Abia State yesterday .
According to eyewitness account, the clashes started in the afternoon after a member of the Hausa community allegedly stabbed and killed an Igbo trader who reprimanded him for urinating near his shop.
Other Igbo traders had reportedly lynched the Hausa trader. News of the incident spread to other parts of the town and a mob gathered and attacked the Hausa community around the abattoir located at Ogbor Hill area of Aba.
Our source further revealed that Soldiers around the vicinity were able to put the situation under control.
