Wike’s ‘old wine in new bottle’

…waste of state resources

Stakeholders have described the policies of Rivers State Government under the leadership of Nyesom Wike, as the worst in the history of the State.

Speaking to Africa Update, a cross section of politicians and business moguls, expressed dismay at the incessant dissolution of organs of government, especially the executive arm and the recycling of over 80% of office holders.

They alleged that engaging the same people and reassigning new portfolios to them in most cases, only further depletes the lean purse of the State.

These monies purportedly wasted on such jamboree according to them, could be used to transform the health and education sectors and also develop industries that would provide job opportunities for Rivers youths, as a way of curbing the high rate of crime in the state.
